Scholarship Application 2025

Please Complete ALL questions & requirements, attach Essay, Official School Transcript and Letter of Reference, and mail by March 1st, 2025.

Scholarship Requirements:

• High School Student (Freshman-Senior or Dual Enrollment) or College Student with at least a 2.0 or higher GPA

• Official high school transcript for the most recently completed semester or HS transcript for College student

• Letter of reference from a non-relative (I.e. teacher, school official or Gadsden Amateur Radio Club member)

• 200-300 word Essay: How has a life changing situation (positive or negative) helped you overcome adversity?

• Must pass Amateur Radio Operator test by Application Deadline (3/1/2025) and provide Call Sign.

(License Testing 1st Saturday of the month at The Rainbow City Library at 11 am Central time. Study Sessions and Study Apps are available upon request.)

Winners notified: Respective Awards Day

GARC will send notice to the winner and a check will be sent to the financial aid office of the college, university, or seminary to be attended by the recipient (s). Funds will not be released directly to students. Proof of college, university, or seminary acceptance will be required at time of scholarship payout. Scholarship decisions are final.
